Valentine Football Club
Supporting the Largest Football Club in Northern NSW.
Established in 1971, Valentine FC is one of the largest community-based organisations in the Lake Macquarie region — with over 930 players and officials, and a further 1,500 associated parents, families and supporters. The club’s home grounds in Croudace Bay are currently being redeveloped, ready for the 2023 season. The new premises will include a new purpose-built clubhouse, three new full-size football pitches, and improved training and spectator facilities.
Montgomery Homes are thrilled to be partnering with Valentine FC, supporting young Australians as they participate in the thriving team sport culture of Newcastle and Lake Macquarie.
Charlie's Run For Kids (CR4K)
Raising much needed funding for families struggling with childhood cancer.
CR4K was founded in 2013 in honour of Charlie – a young girl who fought cancer almost her entire life, and sadly lost her courageous battle in 2015. Participants partake in a 150km running event from Seal Rocks to Dudley to raise money for families who are struggling with the illness that is childhood cancer – including paying for must-needed medicine, specialist appointments, accommodation and much more.
Since inception, CR4K has raised over half a million dollars, with Montgomery Homes proudly being one of the major partners of the cause.
Wallsend Touch Association
Encouraging a healthy and active lifestyle for young Australians.
We recently celebrated our 10 year anniversary of sponsorship of the Wallsend Touch Association, a partnership that benefits the community and supports an active lifestyle for kids. Montgomery Homes supports the Association’s mission to provide a healthy, fun, and active lifestyle for children in our region and are happy to contribute to the community in this way. Our funds help provide equipment and uniforms that feature Montgomery Homes’ branding.
Wyong Netball Association
Making a difference in the lives of young Australians.
Wyong Netball Association is one of the largest sporting associations on the Central Coast, with our sponsorship relationship commencing in 2018. Our support has enabled the association to provide training tights to their representative team players and coaches. The tights are worn with pride to training and games and galas, emblazoned with the Montgomery Homes logo.
Kondanani Children's Village
While charity begins at home, Montgomery Homes also recognises that further abroad there are people who aren’t as fortunate as those in our own backyard.
Montgomery Homes has partnered with Kondanani Children’s Village to support orphaned children in Malawi, East Africa. Our contribution to the orphanage supports the amazing work Kondanani does to ensure the children receive a home and with it a sense of belonging, nutrition, an education, and an opportunity to pursue trades such as carpentry and plumbing – presenting a great synergy with our core business.
In appreciation of our support, Kondanani share photo and video updates of the children from the village which we share on our social media channels. A monthly update is also shared internally with our staff who enjoy and are proud to work with a philanthropic company.
Bar Reef Board Riders
Surfing the waves on an iconic Newcastle beach.
Bar Reef Board Riders Inc. is a local surfboard riding club based at Bar Beach, Newcastle. Established in 1970 by a small group of dedicated surfers and affiliated with Surfing NSW, this club is family friendly and provides both competitive and social events for male and female surfers. With activities available for early learners, recreational and advanced surfers, the club has also commenced a Parent-Assist and Junior Girls division in competition format.
Montgomery Homes are delighted to sponsor Bar Reef Board Riders, as 100+ members ranging from five years to 60+ enjoy the sparkle of beautiful Bar Beach.
Waratah Mayfield Cheetahs
Supporting an active and healthy lifestyle through team sport for young Australians.
Waratah Mayfield Cheetahs Club is a sports team based in Newcastle, NSW. The partnership between the club and Montgomery Homes was formed in 2022. Our support has seen the Montgomery Homes logo displayed across competition gear and the clubs' social media channels. Montgomery Homes are proud to support this local team sporting club.
