Giving back to the community

Montgomery Homes is proud to donate our time and funds to benefit local and international organisations and strengthen relationships within the community. Read more about our current partnerships below:

Ronald McDonald House

When a child becomes seriously ill or injured, families can be torn apart. Often travelling hundreds of kilometres away from home so their child can be near the care they need.

Ronald McDonald House keeps families together during the worst times of their lives and provides support to keep families from falling apart when their child urgently needs them to be strong. By Partnering with Ronald McDonald House, Montgomery Homes can lighten the burden families face and help provide a supportive place for families to connect. Ronald McDonald House is 100% community owned and therefore rely on the generosity of community and corporate partners to make it possible to house so many local families. Our employees generously donate their time to prepare, cook and serve a meal to families staying at the house.

Conservation Volunteers Australia

Conservation Volunteers makes it easy for people to care for nature by volunteering on one of our many conservation projects across the country. They conserve, restore rehabilitate and manage land including land owned by Conservation Volunteers or land owned by the community including parks and reserves. We use a range of conservation tools and the power of volunteers to improve ecosystem function to supports other land managers and provides access for people to enjoy and appreciate nature.

This program focuses on Coasts, Wetlands and Catchments the places people love and that are important reservoirs for nature.

Montgomery Homes staff help to protect and enhance nature in places where people need it most: close to home, coasts, waterways, urban places and community spaces.

While charity begins at home, Montgomery Homes also recognises that further abroad there are people who aren’t as fortunate as those in our own backyard.

Montgomery Homes has partnered with Kondanani Children’s Village to support orphaned children in Malawi, East Africa. Our contribution to the orphanage supports the amazing work Kondanani does to ensure the children receive a home and with it a sense of belonging, nutrition, an education, and an opportunity to pursue trades such as carpentry and plumbing – presenting a great synergy with our core business.

Wyong Netball Association

In 2018 Montgomery Homes developed a relationship with Wyong Netball Association, one of the largest sporting associations on the Central Coast.

Our support has enabled the association to provide training tights to their representative team players and coaches. The tights are worn with pride to training and games and galas, emblazoned with the Montgomery Homes logo.

Charlies Run 4 Kids

Charlie’s Run For Kids (CR4K) was founded in 2013 by Charlotte Carr and Cheyne Waddingham. Charlie is a young child who battled cancer almost her entire life and was initially diagnosed with stage 4 intermediate risk Neuroblastoma in August 2007. Sadly Charlie lost her courageous battle with this relentless, insidious disease in April 2015.

To raise as much funds as possible for this disease, CR4K organises an annual 150km run from Seals Rocks to Dudley. Money raised goes toward helping families who have a child living with cancer. Since inception, CR4K has  raised over half a million dollars for families who are struggling with the illness that is childhood cancer. For two consecutive years, Montgomery Homes has proudly sponsored CR4K,with our donation in 2019 going toward a full-time “Child Life Therapist” - previously known as a play therapist.
